Just 2 days ago the 2nd annual Cliff in our minds tribute event was held at Gyllene Rasten, there were about 200 people in the audience along with great performances by Faith, Elohim, Fourever, Age Of Fury, Gravemachine and Nutellica!
It was awesome, expect full report here in a couple of days!

After 1 Month off line we are back with a new ISP and most of all problems have been sorted out (try changing DNS pointers with a registrar that does not longer exist and admin info from a company which changed name twice in 3 years.... anyone? ;-) . The major things missing are currently the contact and guestbook pages, but we will add these features asap.

Tickets for the Cliff Burton tribute "with Cliff In Our Mind" being held nearby the accident site at Gyllene Rasten in Dörarp just outside of Ljungby in Sweden on the 29 September have just been released and can as of NOW (24 August 12:00 CET) be purchased at the scandinavian ticket broker, ticnet,  here(swe) and here(eng) - alternatively you can call them at +46 (0)77 170 70 70.

As of today we can finally announce the lineup and details of the cliff tribute concert - "WITH CLIFF IN OUR MIND", which will be held at Gyllene Rasten on 29th September.

Tickets
Tickets will be available through the swedish/nordic ticket site ticnet.se shortly, watch this space for when the tickets will be released. Price will be 100 SEK + 15 SEK booking fee.
The Gig
"With Cliff In Our Mind" will be held at Gyllene Rasten, check out the location section of cliff in our minds to get directions. The event will start at 17:30 on 29:th of September 2007. Tex-Mex buffé with a comlementary drink of choice will be possible to purchase for 100 SEK. The bar will be open - 18 years of age apply in Sweden for purchasing alcoholic drinks or bewerages, age to be proven with valid identification papers at the bar upon request.
Lodging
There will be plenty of space around Gyllene Rasten for camping, but cabins can also be hired. Alternatively one could also be staying at some of the hotels in Ljungby.

2007 Mar 6 - Plans for annual Cliff memorial |

The Cliff In Our Minds team are currently in the process of planning a Cliff tribute / Metallica convent event hopefully around the end of September 2007 at the location of the memorial stone (Sweden). We also hope to make this an annual event. Of course we would like to see a bunch of bands performing, along with other surprises, so use the contact form to send us suggestions, or if you are a member of a band that would like to play at our tribute event. We are burning our fuel on making this happen and hoping to see some of you at the first annual Cliff Burton Tribute Frenzy! Watch this space for updates as our plans progress!

A final note to all that think that we are doing this for profit - that is BULLSHIT - we have raised less cash than the stone actually cost to produce and actually Gyllene Rasten and ourselves are currently on negative balance - CIOM is a non-profit organization that is doing this for the love we have to Cliff and his music. The amount in full that is donated or earned from the likes of the event that we are planning will go to the preservation of the memorial stone and future events (if the funds ever will reach this level).
